Birth and Early Life:

Chadalawada Krishnamurthy was born on 1 May 1948 in Chennur village, located in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. He grew up in a modest family, the son of Venkata Subbayya and Venkata Ramanamma, and was instilled with strong values of service and education. His current residence is in Naidupeta.

Educational Journey and Achievements

Krishnamurthy's academic accomplishments are a testament to his intellectual dedication. He earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree and went on to achieve a Doctorate (PhD). His higher education not only expanded his knowledge but also reinforced his commitment to using education as a means to empower others. His scholarly pursuits later inspired the establishment of numerous educational institutions aimed at nurturing future generations.

Political Career: Leadership and Impact

Chadalawada Krishnamurthy has had a prominent and evolving political career, marked by his adaptability and commitment to public service.

Tenure with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP):

• Krishnamurthy was a key member of the TDP, where he played a vital role in shaping party policies and engaging with the public.
• As an MLA from the Tirupati constituency, he advocated for the development of infrastructure, education, and welfare programs. His tenure was characterized by people-centric policies and proactive governance.

Transition to the Jana Sena Party (JSP):

• On 18 October 2018, Krishnamurthy joined the Jana Sena Party, led by Pawan Kalyan. This transition marked a significant shift in his political career, driven by a desire to explore new avenues for serving the public.
• As a senior leader in the JSP, he contributed his experience to strengthen the party’s foundation and its vision for the future.

Role in Religious Administration:

Chairmanship of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD)

One of Krishnamurthy’s most notable roles was serving as the Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board of Trustees. TTD oversees the administration of the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, a globally revered spiritual destination that attracts millions of devotees annually.

During his tenure, Krishnamurthy:

• Enhanced infrastructure to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims.
• Introduced transparent governance systems to ensure accountability in temple operations.

• Old Age Pension Scheme:Krishnamurthy introduced a pension distribution program for elderly individuals, ensuring financial security and dignity in their later years.
• Free Drinking Water Supply:For over two decades, he has facilitated the supply of free drinking water to residents of Tirupati and Naidupet, delivering water directly to their doorsteps. This initiative has alleviated water scarcity in these regions and significantly improved public health.
